About Us

I am a writer, museum educator, and re-rider after approximately a five-year hiatus. I currently live near my job on a small piece of property with two dogs, two cats, and a fish.

Lucky To Cope is a 2002 bay gelding by Lucky Lionel out of Copenqueen, who was bred in Florida to be a racehorse and who has, after a long and moderately successful career, retired to Michigan in the hopes of becoming a foxhunter.

Hello again, LuckytoCope! Just wanted to let you know that, after a ridiculously long interval during which Work Happened, I finally added a link to your blog on our blogroll! Sorry that took so long!

Oh, thank you! I was just visiting today, enjoying the bedtime pictures with the bedtime stories. (I should get one of my parents’ beagle Molly–she sleeps with her tongue poking out.)

As you can tell, it’s practically a hobby of ours, taking photos of the dogs when they’re asleep! If you do get that picture, send it on–I’ll use it for a Bedtime Stories photo.

Aww. I’ll have to sneak one this weekend. Molly is an old dog, so she sleeps a lot–shouldn’t be too hard! Though she and Puff (my shepherd mix) have an ongoing cold war about who gets the big bed when they’re at Mom and Dad’s. No fighting, one just waits until the other gets up, then they move in and take over the bed!

I just came across your blog and I love it! I will be adding it to my blogroll. I was happy to not only find another horsey blog but also one by someone into the museum scene!
